CELEBRITY CHEFS & WINE MAKERS GOLF TOURANMENT
The Biltmore Hotel, Coral Gables (8:30am - 1pm)
Chefs and Vintners tackle greens of a different sort as they take to the hotel's championship course, co-sponsored by the Florida Restaurant Association.

The Delano Hotel, Miami Beach (7:30pm - 11pm)
Honoring "The Gladiator Of Grilling" and the award-winning author of The Barbecue Bible, Steven Raichlen. A private concert by legendary country singer Willie Nelson is the centerpiece of this amazing night on the sand as renowned grillmaster & Food Network's Chef Bobby Flay (Bolo, Mesa Grill, New York) and his bevy of barbecue buddies--Dean Fearing (Mansion on Turtle Creek, Dallas), Aaron Sanchez (Paladar, New York), Jack McDavid (Jack's Firehouse & Down Home Diner, Philadelphia), Jonathan Waxman (Washington Park, New York), Jonathan Eismann (Pacific Time, Miami) and Claude Troisgros (Blue Door at Delano, Miami) along with special guest NBC and Food Network's Al Roker.

These "teaching tastings" feature owners and winemakers leading you through vertical tastings from such big names as Dom Perignon, Etude, Beringer Blass Wine Estates as well as smaller houses and are capped by an authentic Spanish luncheon sponsored by Wines from Spain.

Sizzling Wine and Food Pairings – Andrea Immer, Master Sommelier and host of Fine Living's new show, Simply Wine, shows you how to pair everything from Champagne to Shiraz with sizzling South Beach flavors. This is a hands-on (and forks-on!) seminar featuring world-class wines, and a play-with-your-food sampler of spicy and sexy tastes prepared by Miami's own Chef Allen Susser (Chef Allen's- Aventura)

INTERACTIVE COOKING LUNCH

American chef, restaurateur and cookbook author Todd English (Olives, Figs, Kingfish Hall, Boston-Ma), and master patissier and cookbook author Francois Payard (Payard Patisserie & Bistro) team up to lead students in a hands-on cooking experience as they prepare an unforgettable meal.

Food Network's Chefs Emeril Lagasse, Bobby Flay, Alton Brown, Tyler Florence and Rachel Ray, as well as Tony Abou-Ganim, Deborah Madison, Joan Nathan, Rose Levy-Beranbaum, and Steven Raichlen-to name just a few reveal their kitchen secrets in a series of high-energy, off-the-cuff cooking demos, while more than 100 world-class wineries and spirits suppliers offer their finest, while Barilla provides an enticing array of its authentic Italian specialties for tasting.

KITCHENAID Dinner Series

Four dinners--each crafted by celebrity chefs and accompanied by an appropriate wine--take place simultaneously at some of South Florida's most well-known restautrants: The Loews Miami Beach Hotel, where Emeril Lagasse (Emeril's, New Orleans) will wow diners with his bold dishes and even bolder personality, both served up with the wines of Trinchero Family Estates; The Ritz-Carlton Miami Beach, where masters Nobu Matsuhisa (Nobu-Worldwide), Julian Serrano (Picasso, Las Vegas), Norman Van Aken (Norman's, Miami and Orlando), Scott Conant (L'Impero, New York), and the Ritz-Carlton Chefs will create magic with a little help from Beringer Blass Wine Estates; Azul, where the renowned Ming Tsai (Blue Ginger, Boston) along with Michele Bernstein, will skillfully prepare the perfect meal for pairing with Veuve Clicquot; and the Biltmore Hotel, where the unbeatable combination of Alain Ducasse (Alain Ducasse, Mix in New York, New York), Eric Ripert (Le Bernardin, New York), Philippe Ruiz (Palme d'Or Restaurant, Coral Gables), Pascal Oudin (Pascals on Ponce), and Francois Payard (Payard Patisserie & Bistro), New York) will entertain palates as premium vintages of Lanson Champagne flows. An added attraction, the American Airlines Live Auction, a spirited affair featuring wine lots, exotic trips and much, much more, will begin immediately following dinner at the Biltmore.

Festival hosts Florida International University and Southern Wine & Spirits of Florida pull out the corks to honor leaders in the food and wine industry: trend setting restaurant pioneers Jeffrey and Linda Chodorow of China Grill Management and Gaja Winery president/owner Angelo Gaja, one of the world's legendary Piedmontese winemakers. Chef Todd English (Olives, Figs, Kingfish Hall, Boston) will prepare the Family Style Italian brunch.
