Tudor Hotel "Never
again"
Date: September 16, 2005
Reviewer: Miami Beach 411 User, Melbourne, FL
That was the worst hotel ever in my life. When I got at the hotel
with my friend, we asked if we could make the late check-out at noon,
instead of 11am. The lady at the front desk said that would be no
problem. Surprisingly I had a call at 11:20am from the front desk
to remind me of the check-out and when I said we had already asked
to leave at noon, he said I would be charged 50 dollars for this extra
hour and that I was not the one who determined the hour I would leave.
He was extremely rude on the phone. The funny thing is that I paid
50 dollars for the day, and he wanted to charge me another 50 for
just one hour more. It is nonsense!
Tudor Hotel "Worst Hotel Ever"
Date: August 16, 2005
Reviewer: Miami Beach 411 User, Waterbury, CT
The Tudor is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Upon arriving
the lobby was filthy, the front desk staff didn't greet or even aknowledge
we were there till their personal conversation was done. Walking to
our room the hallway was filthy with carpets full of stains. We opened
the door to our room and were horrified at the filth and mold everywhere.
The staff/manager treated us like we were inconveniencing them by
requesting another room. The next room was just as bad only this one
had an added bonus of bugs crawling all over the place. We checked
out the next morning and the staff had no reaction to the complaints
of the filth and bugs. They didn't even offer an apology. I would
never ever go back there. The Tudor doesn't deserve any stars and
should be shut down and unable to operate.
Tudor Hotel "bad news"
Date: February 22, 2005
Reviewer: Miami Beach 411 User, Atlanta, GA
I'm about lo fly for few days to South Beach. I had plan to stay in
the Tudor Hotel, but my friend just got back from Miami and he told
me don't even think to stay in the Tudor Hotel.
They had horrible experience and the hotel manager was rude. The hotel
was dirty too. So, I'm going to stay in the different hotel for sure.
Tudor Hotel "INCREDIBLY RUDE"
Date: February 8, 2005
Reviewer: Miami Beach 411 User, New York, NY
I have never encountered hotel staff members, especially the manager
of a hotel, treat hotel patrons with such disrespect, discourtesy
and inappropriate rudeness. I would not recommend staying here --
it's not worth dealing with such a rude staff.
Tudor Hotel "Don't Bother"
Date: January 31, 2004
Reviewer: Miami Beach 411 User, New York, NY
Absolutely the worst American hotel in which I have ever been a guest.
They put me in a room with weird, cast-off, mismatched furniture and
a dirty bathroom, which featured a rusty tub, moldy tile floor, and
filthy window/walls. Said ant-infested room was adjacent to a noisy
alleyway where dishes crashed and drunks yelled all night. No washcloths
were provided (disgusting), and I was lucky to get two towels per
day. Then, as I was checking out, I was charged for using the electronic
safe...even though I never used it and did not agree to be charged
for it. Needs to be demoted to one star, stat. I'm working on the
Better Business Bureau letter now.
Tudor Hotel "Hidden Charges"
Date: April 15, 2004
Reviewer: Miami Beach 411 User, New York, NY
They behaved like they don't count on you ever coming back. Hotel
ok, cleaning service sloppy, I especially didn't like the hidden charges
on my bill.
