The
Bass Museum of Art was established in 1963 when
the City of Miami Beach accepted the gift of the art collection
of John and Johanna Bass. The museum occupies what was originally
the Miami Beach Public Library, which was designed in 1930 by Russell
Pancoast, a grandson of Miami Beach pioneer John A. Collins.

From Eastbound on 395 to Bass Museum of Art:
• At the end of 395 (A1A Causewy) becomes 5th Street.
• Continue East on 5th Street 7 blocks to
Collins Ave.
• Turn Left (North) on Collins Ave.
• The Bass Museum is located of the Left side
of the street.
