I’m Bored, What’s There To Do? (5/9 - 5/14)

Gwen Stefani, Akon and Lady Sovereign are coming to Sound Advice Wednesday (5/9).

Miami Beach Cinematheque will be showing the films of Francis Ford Coppola. This week’s films include the Godfather Trilogy (The Godfather on Wednesday, II on Thursday, III on Friday) and Hearts Of Darkness: A Filmmaker’s Apocalypse on Saturday (5/12). Sunday (5/13) Mr. Coppola will be at the Colony Theater for the showing of CODA: Thirty Years Later, a documentary shot during the filming of his latest film Youth Without Youth.

Aqua Girl will be going on all weekend with parties at Score, Pearl, The Fifth, Totem, and Rain as well as a comedy night at the Colony Theater.

EVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour will be in town at the 8th Street Beach Saturday (5/12).

Momentum Dance Company will present a free concert for kids at the Coral Gables Youth Center on Saturday.

Treat Mom to a Red Carpet event at Stage Boutique on Sunday (5/13), which is Mother’s Day.

There are plenty of weekly parties and happy hours going on as well, including Tangier Nights on Wednesdays and Kevin and Caruso’s Magic and Comedy Show on Saturdays. Don’t forget to send us your event to be listed for free!
