Amnesia Miami VIP Opening Night PhotosAmnesia Miami, the brand new club in South of Fifth opens tonight with much anticipation.
The new nightclub Amnesia opens this weekend in South Beach at the same location it was originally in during the 1990s. Privately owned by DJ Bob Sinclar and his business partners, the club has been totally renovated from it’s former life as Opium Garden and Prive, and turned into one huge room. Where it was once open air, there is now a new roof over the entire complex so the residents will not be bothered by the music. OPENING NIGHT IS TONIGHT I was lucky to be invited last night to the VIP preview. The lights and sound for the club are amazing, but the best thing is the huge dance floor. Miami clubs are known for bottle service and as a result we have been left with clubs filled with tables and no room to dance. But not here. Tables are on one side of the room overlooking the dance floor and at the back of the club, leaving you in no doubt that this is a club for people who want to dance and have a good time.
Complimentary cocktails were served all night as Bob Sinclar played for the happy crowd of Miami locals
Amnesia is going to be the hottest club in Miami This club wants to be different from the other corporate clubs in South Beach. They want to give us a club for everyone to have a good time and a friendly door policy instead of expensive bottle service and the velvet rope dramas. So check it out and have fun!

Great article, Jess! When I moved to Miami, Amnesia was open and they used to have foam parties. The year I turned 21, foam parties stopped and Amnesia closed. I am happy to see it is open once again, and is daring to be different. I’m excited to check it (now I will be able to get in)!
