Dania Jai Alai Sold to Boyd GamingDania Jai-Alai, which has been operating in South Florida for more than 50 years, is being sold to Boyd Gaming for $152.5 million. The new owners plan to spend 75 million developing the facility to include a gaming floor, poker room, restaurants and entertainment lounges. Construction is set to begin early next year and the improved facility is planned to be ready in early 2008. Boyd Gaming is also the company developing the $4 billion Echelon Resort, which is the the future home of the Las Vegas Delano Hotel. Related:
