Delta’s new sleeper suites offer lie-flat seats

I’m what you might call a budget-conscious traveler. When planning a trip, I’ll comparison shop to find the best hotel, research the destination to find good, cheap places to eat, and would never pay the extra expense to fly first class. But after seeing Delta’s new sleeper suites I might be forced to change my ~~penny-pinching~~ frugal ways:

Delta Air Lines invites international customers to stretch out and lie flat, as the first U.S. airline to announce fully-horizontal BusinessElite seatpersonal sleeper suites in BusinessElite. Delta will introduce seats by Contour Premium Aircraft Seating, when the airline takes delivery of two new Boeing 777 Long Range aircraft.

Delta says by June 2007, customers flying Deltaâ€™s BusinessElite on international flights will enjoy more comfortable seats with all-leather coverings, and 60 inches of legroom. Additionally, the sleeper suites will offer new innovative food offerings designed by celebrity Miami chef Michelle Bernstein, on-demand personal in-seat entertainment with more than 20 first-run and popular classic movies, a variety of TV programs, music, and a suite of 12 video games.
