Google Maps Car Spotted in MiamiAttention Miami motorists, be on the lookout for the Google Maps car. We spotted her mapping the streets, twice this week. She’s not hard to miss. The car is a blue Subaru Impreza, with a basketball size orb, mounted on the roof. The orb contains nine directional cameras for the 360° views and a GPS unit for positioning and laser range scanners. The first time we saw the car was Monday at Biltmore Hotel, while on The Original Miami Sightseeing Tour, and I really hope she snapped a picture of our bus. Don’t know why, but I get so excited when I see anything Google-related!

Good thing it has a sign that says Google, otherwise it would be just another strange car on South Fla’s roads!
