Hazardous Weather Outlook

A low-pressure weather system over the Bahamas is expected to begin its crawl over South Florida late today, bringing gusty weather and possibly dumping five to seven inches of rain over the region through Saturday.

A hurricane reconnaissance plane was scheduled to fly this morning into the system, which on Monday became more organized near the central Bahamas, the National Hurricane Center said.
