I’m Bored, What’s There To Do? (3/12 - 3/19)

Winter Music Conference is next week!!! Until then there are some notable events going on. How did the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch come to be? Find out by seeing the Broadway hit Wicked at Carnival Center’s Ziff Ballet Opera House beginning Thursday (3/14). In music, Chris Botti is at Knight Concert Hall Wednesday (3/14), Paul Anka is at BankAtlantic Center Friday (3/16), Chris Tomlin is at the Sound Advice Amphitheatre Saturday (3/17), Nickleback is at BankAtlantic Center Sunday (3/18), and Snow Patrol is at BankUnited Center Monday (3/19). Other events include Warriors Championship Boxing at Hard Rock Live Friday (3/16), Marcia Milhazes Companhia de Danca at the Byron Carlyle Friday and Saturday with her newest work Tempo de VerÃ£o (Time of Summer), and Hotel Victor’s St Patty’s Day party Paint Yourself Green.

Other events just in…It’s Oscar Shorts Weekend at Miami Beach Cinematheque. See the 2007 Academy AwardÂ® Nominees & Winners (98 min total) Friday or Saturday at 8:30pm. Evolution, a 3 day Hip Hop event, takes place at Revolution in Ft Lauderdale Friday - Sunday. Big Daddy Kane will be there in concert Friday with guests Nice & Smooth and Garcia. An official after party is scheduled for Saturday with DJ Jazzy Jay. Doors open at 10pm both nights. Ricky Martin tickets for his May 19th concert at AA Arena go on sale this Saturday at 10am. MiamiNights.com is having their 1 Year Anniversary Party on ~~Saturday~~ Friday (3/16) at Studio A.

Studio A usually charges a $10, however, you can get out of paying by RSVPing to be on the list like Manola did!
