I’m Bored, What’s There To Do? (5/16 - 5/21)

Twelve Angry Men, a Jazz Festival, an Orchid Show, and a Software Symposium. There’s something for everyone this weekend…

Twelve Angry Men, with Richard Thomas and George Wendt, is at the Carnival Center through Sunday (5/20).  The JVC Jazz Festival, which will include the Sidesteppers at the North Beach Bandshell, begins Thursday (5/17) and runs through Saturday (5/19). Friday (5/18) through Sunday (5/20), the Redland International Orchid Show is at Fruit & Spice Park and the South Florida Software Symposium is at the Hotel Intercontinental Miami West.

Other events include Championship Boxing Wednesday (5/16), Carlos Vives Thursday (5/17), and Creedence Clearwater Revisited Monday (5/21) at Hard Rock Live. There’s the Spam Allstars Record Release Party at Studio A on Friday. Saturday brings Self Magazine’s Workout in the Park at Lummus Park, Ricky Martin at AA Arena, and The Gathering at Churchill’s Pub. The M+Ms will be live at Mansion on Sunday. Leave your cell phone at home.
