I’m Bored, What’s There To Do? (5/2 - 5/7)

Hello Miami! Sorry for the hiatus. If you didn’t notice, there hasn’t been all that much going on. But this week things are looking up!

The Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival will go on through the weekend at various theaters in Miami. The film Itty, Bitty, Titty Committee, a joint venture between MGLFF and the Aqua Foundation for Women (host of Aqua Girl happening next weekend), will be shown at the Colony Theater Saturday (5/5) at 7pm.

Looking for some laughs? Artie Lange will be at the Jackie Gleason Theater Friday (5/4) and Wayne Brady will be at Hard Rock Live Saturday (5/5).

For music, check out the Spam Allstars at Hoy Como Ayer in Little Havana Thursday (5/3) or how about The Baseball Music Project with Dave Winfield at the Carnival Center Friday? On Saturday the options are: Christina Aguilera with The Pussycat Dolls and Danity Kane at the BankAtlantic Center; Lissette and Willy Chirino at the Jackie Gleason Theater; or Toots & the Maytals at Ft Lauderdale’s Culture Room.

Other events going on include the South Dade Kennel Club Annual Dog Show at the Fair Expo Center; The Miami Film Race (must register by Thursday!!!), Kevin & Caruso’s Magic & Comedy Show (this will be an ongoing Saturday night event) at the Deauville Hotel; and the monthly multi-media event Unbreak Miami at downtown’s PS-14.
