I’m Bored, What’s There To Do? (5/29 - 6/4)Here’s this week’s happenings… On Tuesday (5/29), check out Santo’s Friends Tuesdays party with DJ Ron Luna or Mokai’s Favela Chic with DJ Ross One. Wednesday (5/30) brings Nelly Furtado to Hard Rock Live and her concert after-party to Mansion; Tangier Nights to Social; Miami L.I.V.E. to Santo; and the Spam Allstars to Purdy Lounge. Thursday (5/31), how about some music and poetry, with food of course, at Ocean Drive Fusion Restaurant’s Ambrosia Ambiance? Or Tropical Chihuly Nights at the Fairchild Garden (this is the last night!)? Or Latino night at Santo? Friday (6/1), the opening night of the 11th Annual Brazilian Film Festival, enjoy free screenings of What´s up Tocayo and Irma Vep - the Return at the North Beach Bandshell. If Brazilian films aren’t your style, Miami Beach Cinematheque will be showing Francis Ford Copolla’s Rumble Fish. Or Tool will be at the BankAtlantic Center. Saturday (6/2) is the first day of the Miami Bahamas Goombay Festival (through Sunday) in Coconut Grove and the Oh Seuss! Off to Great Places exhibit at the Miami Children’s Museum (through April 30, 2008). Bram Stoker’s Dracula will be shown at the Miami Beach Cinematheque that night. And the Brazilian Film Festival continues at the Colony Theater through June 9th. Kenny Chesney will be at the Sound Advice Amphitheatre on Sunday (6/3). Also going on are the Port Royal, Jamaica exhibit at the Historical Museum of South Florida, The Lion King at the Broward Center, and The Boy From Russia at the Actors Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre.
