I’m Bored, What’s There To Do? (9/20 - 9/25)Here’s one: Bodies…The Exhibition will be opening Friday (9/22 and running through March 2007) in the old Virgin Records store at The Shops at Sunset Place. With 21 whole bodies and 260 organs, this is not for the squeamish, but definitely check out the exhibit the whole world is talking about! At an opposite extreme, for all of you with kids to entertain, Sesame Street Live is at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach Thursday to Sunday (9/21-9/24). Sunday there’s something for everyone with Sting Miami 2006 going on all day at Bayfront Park; the Dolphins hosting the Titans; Sssserpent Ssssunday at Parrot Jungle (bring your reptile for free admission); and Styx, Foreigner and Blue Oyster Cult in concert at the Sound Advice Amphitheatre. If it’s more culture you’re looking for this week, on Thursday (9/21), check out the music of Natacha Atlas at the Artime Theater, or hear author Michael Connors discuss “Cuban Elegance: The Colonial Era to the Mid-Twentieth Century” at the Wolfsonian. On Friday (9/22) listen to the Kronos Quartet at the Gusman Center for Performing Arts. And if you only want to party, check out this list of Nightlife events. Want to add something to the Calendar?
