I’m Bored, What’s There To Do? (Sleepless Night Weekend)

Halloween is over but there is no shortage of things to do!!! Most important is Sleepless Night Miami Beach. There will be events going on EVERYWHERE (84 locations to be exact) Saturday night (11/3) 6pm - 6am. There’s still plenty more going on this weekend…

All weekend long there’s Ribfest in Homestead, RENT at the Carnival Center, and the return of Sunset Cinema with American Gangster at Bayfront Park. Also, J Lo and Marc Anthony will be at the AmericanAirlines Arena both Friday (11/2) and Saturday nights.

Saturday afternoon, take the kids to see Dan Zanes and Friends at the Carnival Center. Trust me, you just may enjoy this one yourself!

And then the big Sleepless Night…The Bass Museum will have 10 hours of activities. Opium Garden will be showing The Rocky Horror Picture Show under the stars followed by a Trashy Lingerie afterparty. If none of the dozens of free events appeal to you, you could also see Rascal Flatts at the Sound Advice Amphitheatre; check out the Juicy Miami party with Robbie Rivera at Club Space; or party with Europe’s DJ Axwell at Mansion.

Sunday (11/4) is the start of Miami Book Fair International at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus (it runs all week through Saturday). Miami Beach Botanical Garden is holding a Kitchen Garden event that will teach you how to create your own tomato and herb garden and what to do with all that fresh produce. The Trans-Siberian Orchestra will be performing at the BankAtlantic Center.

Also, next week is a big week at the newly opened Fillmore Miami Beach (at the Jackie Gleason). Make sure to check out the renovated theater during Sleepless Night! Or get your tickets for Widespread Panic Tuesday (11/6); the MySpace Music Tour featuring Hellogoodbye and Say Anything Wednesday (11/7); or Morrissey Thursday (11/8).
