I’m Bored, What’s There To Do? (Jazz Festival Weekend)

Is there any such thing as “just another weekend” in Miami? Absolutely not! Here’s the rundown…

Katt Williams is at the BankAtlantic Center and Aventura is at the AmericanAirlines Arena. Or check out all the artists, including Sergio Mendes, Jorge Ben Jor, Ledisi, and more, at the JVC Jazz Festival at Bayfront Park.

In the theater, check out Avenue Q at the Ziff Ballet Opera House. On the big screen, there’s the documentary Secrets of the Dead: The Hunt for Nazi Scientists at the Wolfsonian or Derek Jarman’s Edward II at the Cinematheque.

For parties, check out DEEP at Havana on the Bay, the JVC Jazz Festival After Dark at The Raleigh, or the weekly parties going on at the clubs.

Other events to know about: the Miami FC playing both the Vancouver Whitecaps and the Portland Timbers and the Redland International Orchid Show at Fruit & Spice Park.
