Catch a Buzz at the Miami International Wine Fair
One of the perks of my job is I get to occasionally catch an alcohol buzz while on the clock. Friday was one of these moments when I attended the 9th annual Miami International Wine Fair in the Miami Beach Convention Center. I am far from a wine connoisseur, preferring my Heinekens, but I didn’t let that stop me from sampling a multitude of wines. Even though I lost count at about 20 samplings, I barely made a dent in the 1,800 wines from the 500 vendors and 20 countries that were available for sampling. But I had a video to edit, so maybe I’ll do that some time this weekend. My press pass lasts until Sunday. Be sure you watch the video until the end where police end up dragging a woman out in handcuffs. They say the woman became belligerent after too many wines. It wasn’t even 5 p.m. The event is open to the public Saturday at a cost of $75. For more information, click here.

Oh that sounds so fun! I wish I could have gone. Wine in a can still is weird to me, though. What a blast, I missed out. I wonder what happened with the crazy lady?
