Miami Marathon Winners

Ruben Garcia of Mexico and Hiromi Ominami of Japan were the winners of the ING Miami Marathon on Sunday.

Garcia, 35, finished first with a time of 2:18:15, beating out defending champion Elias Bastos of Brazil in the men’s category.

In the women’s race, Hiromi Ominami, 30, of Japan, set a new course record with a time of 2:34:11.

Congratulations to Miami Beach blogger, Matt Heller, who finished the race in 3:19:30.
