Perez Hilton says “Not much to see in Miami, Go to Vegas instead”

In a recent article on MSNBC, celebrity gossip blogger and Miami native, Perez Hilton, says there’s not much to see in Miami, and the nightclubs in Vegas are better:

Q: Youâ€™re from Miami. What would you tell a visitor to Miami to check out while theyâ€™re there.

A: Hmmm. Good question. I would just say find a nice hotel thatâ€™s within your budget and then donâ€™t see anything.

Q: Seriously?

A: Yeah. Thereâ€™s really not much to see!

Q: Wait a minute. No all-night clubbing in South Beach?

A: No. I wouldnâ€™t recommend any clubs in Miami. Itâ€™s kind of changed. If your intention is to go clubbing, go to Las Vegas.

Hey, Perez, why are you dissing your barrio? Has celebrity gone to your head?

Seeing that you didn’t turn 21 until 1999, I’m not sure which Miami clubs you’re missing; not much has changed since then.

Not to mention, I read that article in Rolling Stone about you, the one that says how in high school you spent most of your time in bed, watching TV, having your dad bring meals to you on a tray. After learning that, I find it hard to believe you did much if any clubbing here.

I’m happy for your success, but please keep your travel tips in check.

You have obviously not reached A-list status yet because if you had, you’d know partying in Vegas sucks compared to Miami.

Don’t forget your roots, chico.

If there’s one thing I dislike it’s people who talk out of their a$$es. If there’s another, it’s two faced sell-outs. Perez Hilton is, apparently, both. Miami’s gossip queen couldn’t possible know the first thing about clubbing (or anything else to do in Miami) considering his lazy ass was in his bedroom eating the whole time he lived here. Notice how he moved to NYC but doesn’t say anything about NYC clubs.. Clearly Perez Hilton is not a club go-er. Maybe it’s because all the food papi fed him made too large to fir through doorways. Maybe it’s because his head is often mistaken for a strobe light…
He should know plenty about libel and about verifying facts to be rambling nonsense. Anyone who says there is nothing to see in Miami has clearly never set foot outside.
I was going to comment on Maxim’s recent voting of Miami as the top party town but then I realized it made perfect sense that Perez WOULDN’T be in the know here…
