Redesign The South Florida Daily Blog Logo

See the image above. That’s the logo for Rick’s new website, The South Florida Daily Blog. The site has only been online 10 days and has already become a must read, but does anyone else think the logo takes up too much space above the fold? Look how big it is. When viewing the site, you can’t even see the first story.

New web users don’t usually scroll, so this means some people are missing all of Rick’s great posts.

Hey, all you creative people, let’s give Rick some suggestions…

Just for fun: please redesign the The South Florida Daily Blog logo and post your design here as a 500xSomething pixels image. The winner, decided by general feedback in the comments and/ or our pick, will get 2 tickets to Key West or 2 Miami Boat Cruise tickets (whichever is preferred). Your redesign may be subtle, dramatic, funny, or anything in-between. Deadline is around Monday, though we will extend it a couple more days if you need more time. Multiple entires are welcome.
