Thives Posing as FPL Workers

Be on the lookout for thieves posing as FPL workers. This week, every resident of Coral Gables received a telephone message from police warning about con men who try to get into homes by posing as utility workers. According to police, the thieves pose as FPL workers or alarm technicians or roofers and try to weasel their way into houses. An incident of this sort happened last week in Deerfield Beach.
