What’s There To Do? (Art Deco Weekend)This year’s Argentinean-themed Art Deco Weekend takes place in the center of South Beach at Ocean Drive. Festivities, including performances, films, food, a Car Fest and more, kick off with a parade on Saturday morning and go through the weekend. Coinciding with Art Deco Weekend, the Cinematheque will be showing two Argentinean films. Free (with your ticket) wine tastings will be held across the street at Cavas Wines after the films. The Historical Museum of Southern Florida (HMSF) is hosting two tours this weekend: a Downtown Architecture and Miami River Walking Tour on Saturday and a Ft Lauderdale Intracoastal Waterway & New River Boat Tour on Sunday. Both tours will be lead by Dr. Paul George. youngARTS week wraps up this weekend with Photography & Visual Arts and Dance & Cinematic Arts finals on Friday; and Written Works and Chamber Music finals on Saturday. And then there’s the parties. In honor of Martin Luther King, Voyage is hosting One Love and Cameo is hosting the ‘I Have a Dream’ Blowout, both on Sunday. There are plenty more all weekend long.
