The Arsht Center for the Performing Arts has something going on every stage this weekend: the amazing Fuerza Bruta in the Ziff Ballet Opera House (be prepared to get wet!); CELIA: The Life & Music of Celia Cruz in the Knight Concert Hall; and City Theatre’s annual Summer Shorts Festival, and their late night undershorts show, are going on in the Carnival Studio Theater.  While these plays are for mature audiences, families can enjoy Shorts4Kids.

Other family events this weekend include Second Saturdays Free for Families at MAM, and Sesame Street Live at the AA Arena. Or how about a bike ride? The Miami Beach Community Bike Ride begins at 9am Saturday.

The Brazilian Film Festival isn’t over yet! While the Cinematheque is showing their final Festival film tonight, the Colony Theatre screenings don’t end until Saturday. The Cinematheque will be showing a 2008 Cannes Film Festival winner, Tulpan, for the remainder of the weekend.

Have you checked out the Divine Debris and Glorious Trash exhibit at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden yet? It ends tomorrow (Friday)!

Notable parties for this weekend include the Fuerza Bruta Cast Party at Mansion tonight; Steve Angello at SET tomorrow; Lee Burridge at The Vagabond and Joachim Garraud at Mansion Saturday; and Brunch at Nikki Beach Sunday.
