We stayed at the Shelborne Hotel,and boy did the front desk have attitude! Our phone did not work so I asked if they could fix it, and that sure opened a can of worms! They sent up an elderly Spanish gentleman who kept yelling into his cellphone in Spanish. Then he would hand the phone over to me. It was very confusing and I did not Know what I was supposed to do. I told the front desk and both girls started yelling at me. I got the name of the manager from the concierge, and attempted to reach him many times. Though I was told he was in the Hotel, I was only able to leave numerous messages. Of course he never attempted to return my call during or after our stay! When my parents checked in,(this was a family trip), lo and behold, their phone did not work either. Do not go to this hotel if you want a friendly and responsive staff!
