Owned by the city of Miami beach, it is true that this is a free, walk-on course. However, one should be aware that maintenance is marginal at best. The green are little better that temporary greens. The two times I played there I learned that most locals use it for practicing. No score cards and only 3 or 4 of the holes have tee yardage markers and several of these are inaccurate. It isn’t even 9 holes. Two of the holes have disappeared, victims of city poaching for various building so it is really only a 7 hole course. It’s really ashamed because it really is potentially a fine little course with well trapped greens and some interesting holes.
