Louie's Brick Oven" title="Louie's Brick Oven">Louie's Brick Oven: Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner at Louie’s
By Barbara from Miami, FL on February 23, 2006.
My husband and I visited Louie’s on a Thursday night, about 7pm. The restaurant was more than half full, one group was ahead of us. The hostess took care of them and told us she would be right back. Within seconds, another employee came over to us and seated us. We ordered drinks and the Portabella mushroom appetizer, which was served to us quickly. We shared an entree of Barbecue ribs and wood grilled veggies, which were both excellent. We also shared the Bread pudding. We waited a little longer for that, but it was worth the wait. Two days later, we went there for breakfast. We shared a Western omelet, moist and delicious, and the Banana waffle. The waffle was tasty, but the bottom was a little soggy. Perhaps the mango sauce should be served on the side, instead of under the waffle? This afternoon, my daughter and I had lunch at Louie’s. We shared the coconut curry shrimp appetizer, a small Chicken Cobb salad and a Mahi-Mahi wrap. Once again, we were very pleased with the food and service. We had plently of salad left to take home. I also ordered a Meat Ball Pizza to go, and can’t wait to taste it. We will be back!
