Where do I begin, upon arriving, they stored our bags in a room where they store their leftover bagels from the morning bagels/coffee. When we did get a room, they placed me and my friend in a room with just one bed and refused to give us a room with two beds. When we got to the room, we were afraid to put our luggage on the floor because the carpet was so dirty and sticky (they placed us in the Palmer House side). The condition of the hotel room (hallways too) was so bad, that it is worst than the worst motor lodges. I was embarrassed to go in to this hotel for the entire trip. It is really a turn off when they take a photocopy of your driver’s license and charge you for the room safe even when you didn’t use it. If you want a nice experience in South Beach, pay a little more and stay some where else.
