Clay Hotel: Fabulous Find and Great Price For Location

This hotel was recommended by a friend and I’m glad we switched hotels from a much pricier hotel. The Clay is a very safe hotel and on a cool street with a ton of little cafes below to eat. Also lots of shopping on the weekends with local vendors (one of which I also recommend called Castorani Inc., they make handmade jewelry that is very beautiful). Overall, I would stay at this hotel again for the location and price, compared to what a lot of people paid for some not so nice hotels. It is a little efficiency, just like a bedroom at your own home, safe, clean, walking distance to Washington Ave., Lincoln Rd, Ocean Dr. and the beach. Just bring your walking shoes! You will definitely want extra spending money to eat and shop, if you are wanting to enjoy South Beach ,which means shopping and eating. Save your money on the pricey hotels and check into the Clay!!!
