Prime 112: Favorite place in Miami   5-Star rating

Prime 112 is an unbelievable experience. The wait even with a reservation is pretty long but so worth it. I’ve been to prime 112 many times and everytime I have been more than satisfied. Its a noisy place and always crowded but the food is so delicious none of that matters. Its not a cheap meal but worth every penny. The bone in filet is remarkable, the shrimp is delicious as well as all the sides. Lobster bisque is out of this world definetly the best I’ve ever had. The staff is friendly and the service is great considering how packed this place is every1 does their job well. Not 1 complaint. Also prime italian across the street is just as wonderful. The kobe lasagna, kobe meatballs and chopped salad are terrific. You will not be disappointed by these 2 restaurants.

Prime 112 is located at 112 Ocean Dr., Miami Beach.

"Favorite place in Miami"

Prime 112? Yes... A waste of time. says:

I’ve eaten at some of the best restaurants in the world. This is one falls into the category of “overhyped” . Unfortunately, the restaurant cares more about the turnover than about the food. Tts apparent from the start of the dining experience that the goal of the restaurant is to get you in and out before you realize that you’ve spent more than 100$ on an average steak and some drinks.  There is a fairly good chance you’ll spend your time waiting for a table 45 minutes after your reservations. What does that tell you?? Yes, thats right…poor management. It doesnt take an MBA from Harvard to figure out how to manage your clients and turnover, but until someone figures that out over there, count me out.  You can only go so far trying to cater to celebrities and a reputation. The people who actually create the reputation of a restaurant, the regular paying customer, are not part of the formula here. I’ll never go back to that place again. Save you time and eat anywhere else in Miami. And There are some really great places to eat in this international city of culture and cooking, this is just not one of them.
