Clay Hotel: Get a room off the street  

The Clay is an alright budget hotel. Rooms are not as nice as on the website, but hey, it’s cheap and clean. The beach and Lincoln Road (for shopping) are only a few blocks away. The Clay is right on Espanola Way with its cute shops and restaurants, and that’s also a downside, because, if you have a room that goes onto the street, you won’t get much sleep before 1am. That’s how noisy it is. On Fridays and Saturdays the noise goes on until at least 3am - we’re talking loud music blazing and people shouting. So make sure you ask for a room that doesn’t go towards the street.
