Clay Hotel: Hotel Hell   1-Star rating

I stayed in the hotel with a private bath. I changed rooms 4 times until I found a livable one. Each one was a disaster.

My final room #569:
The A/C was over my bed and dripped black gunk unto the bed and made terribly loud noises. You had to stand on the bed to adjust the A/C. The bed was pushed up against the wall & window. The window had no curtains, only dirty plastic blinds, which were missing some sections. Needless to say, the light shined through all night. The bathroom sink’s cold water faucet was missing, so I could only use the hot water. The hinge on the vanity sink’s mirror was broken so the mirror stood out at a 45 degree angel. The electric socket for the lamp was broken, so the lamp would not stay in the outlet. The carpet and walls were filthy beyond belief. You had to call the switchboard to get an outside line for each call. The fire alarm’s door was hanging open and you could see the battery was not in it. No table, no shampoo, no kleenix, no hairdryer, no hand towels, no nothing.

Clay Hotel is located at 1438 Washington Ave., Miami Beach, FL 33139.

"Hotel Hell"

Clay Target Hotel (a Trap & Skeet Resort) says:

And lemme guess…. you paid for your stay??  Ha!  You shoulda walked out on the second dirty room tour (not before leaving a nasty surprise in the toilet though).  Why do you put up with this treatment from a hotel?  Stand up for your rights!
