Prive: I’m surely not privy to Prive  

Alright ya’ll, tons has been written about how great this place is and honestly I would have to disagree.  I have been to Prive a few times now and really the only time I had a super fun time was during VMA weekend, in which our party was required to purchase 3 bottles, but it was totally worth it because we got to walk the red carpet with a guy from Reno 911 and have the pleasure to see DJ AM bring everyone to their feet.  However, on normal nights this place is teaming with people that yearn to be who they are not and that is not my style.  I have no clue why but most of my friends love this place, maybe because they see it in all of the mags and on tv and they think they are a mini celeb for even being inside.  I think this is quite comical.  But the decor is nice, the people are very sexy, and the door policy is extremely strict.  Luckily I speak a little French and on most big nights the main door man is French so I kinda have a way of communicating with him and have never had to wait forever and a day like some of my friends have, but still it is crazy how many people love this place.
