David Barton Gym: Keep trying for that refund!

Be careful with the accounting dept! The record keeping is horrific. I tried to cancel the membership and $625 in credit card charges later they still don’t know how much they have charged me. Apparently my credit card is on an active member’s profile and they don’t know the account number so they can’t stop the charges!

David Barton Gym is located at 1683 Collins Avenue.

Yeah, typical actually. Having worked there I know. You need to persist and speak with Joey Perez (not on the phone) in PERSON. He will get you your money back and account back on track or general manager Richard Conlin. Don’t bother talking to anyone else, even in NYC and calling is a joke. WALK IN THERE AND WAIT FOR ONE OF THESE TWO, be firm but polite and they will be helpful.

Thanks for refund advice. I will try this tactic. I have been trying for six MONTHS now to get a refund for a “reservation” fee. Outrageous. Unprofessional. AVOID THIS GYM AT ALL COSTS. They engage in unethical and fraudulent business practices. This place should be investigated by the AG’s office.
