At first glance it was disappointing but thought we’d give a chance and see what the interior was like. The hallways smelled musty and mildewy. Our room small, dark, and stale. Should have known better considering it was one of few hotels available at the last minute for a reasonable price during WMC. Front desk staff and bartender were friendly and accommodating and the continental breakfast and beach towels a plus (of course, you’re charged a daily amenities fee). YET, when we received a filthy towel and brought it to management’s attention (even showed them) they were argumentative and unsympathetic. Claiming it was not possible because they inspect all their towels and throw away those that are dirty (well um, they missed one). The hotel manager was supposed to get back in touch with us but a couple hours later he was gone for the day (how convenient) and I have emailed and called the general manager without any response. Very unprofessional.
Don’t waste your time or money. I’ve never been so disappointed with customer service.
