Riande Continental Hotel: No stress free vacation here  

I strongly advise anyone who will be going to Miami for a STRESS FREE vacation to stay away from this hotel. Not only is the customer service terrible because of the front desk workers being rude and unhelpful, the management is just as bad. They charged me TWICE on my card when I had to change my plans from staying 7 days to only 1 day, AFTER they told me they would not. Then after i realized I was charged twice, I called them and they told me the hold had been released and it would take up to 72 hours and would I have the money within that time. NOW, i just got off the phone with my credit card company to find that the hotel NEVER released a refund for me at all! And I have to wait another four days to get a refund for this. That’s $1200 the hotel took from me, and I now have to change my plans accordingly. This hotel is irresponsible, and they will take advantage of any situation. The rooms were not clean, and it was not worth the amount charged. Overall, my
stay in the Continental Hotel has made my first trip to Miami a disaster. I spent most of my time worrying about the fact that my money was taken from me and I was lied to instead of enjoying myself in this beautiful city. If I had a choice, I wouldn’t even give this hotel one star. They didn’t even try to sound sorry about the fact that they had messed up my checking account.
