La Lupa di Roma: Not recommended   2-Star rating

Terrible service. Dodgy wine recommended. One of the entrees (risotto with lobster) virtually inedible. Other two entrees were good, but at the price, with the bad service, SO not worth it. After noting to the waiter that the risotto was not good, nothing offered to make us feel a tiny bit better. And, to add insult to injury, a 17% gratuity added to the menu. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

La Lupa di Roma is located at 610 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, FL 3313.

Anyone who orders lobster ravioli deserves a sub optimum pasta, since the majority of Italian restaurants buy this entity rather making themselves.  Stick with the basics, any pasta with Amatriciana(sp) is deliciously made at this restaurant.  Choose a moderate wine and you’ll have a good eating experience.  The bread and vegetables are great.

We loved this restaurant and went repeatedly but do not like their new menu. Its family owned and they are always there with Papa as the cook and Mama checking the tables to make sure everything is good. We hope to eventually return when they change the menu and have somethings we like. We have returned to Carnevali immediately in back of Lupe, for their food which almost never disappoints.
