Service was great, but food was disappointing. I ordered the filet ($44.00) and got a 1.5” thick and 2” wide flavorless steak with 6 mushrooms and three asparagus sticks. My wife ordered the grouper and it was heavily smothered in an array of spices with no thought given to the flavor. She said it was the worst meal she has ever had. The crab cake appetizer was smothered as well with garlic, which again overpowered the flavor of the crab. Dinning at Emeril’s is an assault on your taste buds. I do not recommend Emeril’s at all.

we had the miami spice menu the other night and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The waiter was friendly and interested in us. I had the crab cake and loved it. It was chuck full of crab with very little binding abd the remoulade was wonderful. I enjoyed the free range roasted chicken breast which was juicy with great crispy well seasoned skin. Think I make a better bread pudding,but nonetheless it was a very good meal
