I had a cake tasting appointment for my wedding with Edda’s Cake Design. When I arrived the store seemed to be run by two 15 year old girls. They didn’t watch the counter, had their music blaring at one point and left customers waiting for around 10 minutes before they even came out to see what they wanted. When I received my samples of cake, they were dry and very unimpressive. The frosting tasted like lard and sugar with some food coloring. They didn’t even have chocolate and when we asked the girls they just shrugged their shoulders and said that they didn’t have any that day. Keep in mind I made my appointment a week in advance. The whole situation was very disappointing.

I ORDERED A SPECIAL CAKE FOR MY DAUGHTERS 20TH BIRTHDAY - FOR 5-27-08 -WHEN I GOT IT HOME AND WAS READY TO SERVE MY GUESDTS THE ICING HAD SLID OFF THE CAKE -MY DAUGHTER WAS SO EMBRASSED I WENT BACK AND SPOKE TO THE MANAGER AT DORAL SHE SAID SHE WOULD GET BACK TO ME AND I HAD TO CALL AGAIN AND LEAVE A MESSAGE -THEN SHE LEFT ME A MESSAGE ON MY PHONE THAT IT BASICALLY WASNT HER PROBLEM -I THOUGHT THAT WAS HORRIBLE -I HAVE PURCHASED MANY CAKES FORM THESE PEOPLE INCLUDING MY DAUGHTERS WEDDING CAKE 2 YEARS AGO AND THEY REFUSE TO MAKE IT RIGHT ON A 30.00—CAKE—MY DAUGHTERS EMBRASSMENT WAS HEARTBREAKING
