The services at this hotel stink. The “central air” that runs thru the hotel that is supposed to cool the rooms is terrible. It was so hot in the room it was hard to sleep. The staff does not speak or understand English very well and they are NOT helpful at all. At any other hotel I have ever been too, the concierge is like your best friend on vacation to answer all your questions, etc….don’t bother to ask anyone at the front desk anything. You are better off with the yellow pages. ALSO, something extremely important…they never mention it’s $25 bucks per night to park there “valet” service until you get there. I walked to 16th St to the nearest garage & paid $16/day. Still, this expense was something we didn’t plan on and had to come out of our spending money. Thanks Miami Beach 411, this site was extremely helpful with a lot of things as far as restaurants, etc. but I had already booked my reservations at this hotel before I found you!

Lynda, I am sorry to hear that you had a bad time at the Richmond. I’ve been hearing more and more complaints about that place.
I used to suggest their hotel based on a great daily lunch special they served at their poolside restaurant, but I will be removing them from my list of recommended hotels.
Next time you’re in Miami, don’t hesitate to contact us directly for a recommendation.
