Stay Away! What a disappointment! For $249/night I expected a lot better than that. The room was terribly small, as well as the bathroom. I made a reservation for three - the bathroom only had 2 towells in it. It was no problem getting more however, but they are lousy towells - very rough and worn out. The room stunk. I reserved a non smoking room, but did not get one. Instead I got a room containing a small table top sign that read “this room was cleaned of smoke odors”. Yeah, right!  As soon as you opened the door the stench just about knocked you on the floor. The carpet was dirty and I found cigarette buts behind the bed.  We had a broken toilet which we had to keep the tank lid off to be able to flush it. The room and carpet were dirty, I didn’t even want to walk barefoot on the carpet. The bedding smelled of smoke. The A/C unit is very noisy too! It was a tiny and disgusting room. The hallway leading to the rooms was dank and smelled. I was worried walking into the place but held out hope that the room would be decent. There were vending and ice on the first floor but our room provided no ice bucket for our use and the drink machine contained no water. Our iron was broken, the safe did not have a key to it so it was totally useless for us. I couldn’t wait to leave. I also found the front desk staff not very friendly and the staff at the breakfast were quite rude as if we, the guest were bothering them. All I can say is, don’t be fooled by the pictures on the internet, the hotel lobby and rooms look a lot better on the internet than in person. It was disgusting and I couldn’t wait to leave.  I could have stayed in a nice place like the Cordozo for only $205/night.
