The hotel and grounds were nice and well kept however the hotel staff was very unfriendly and dishonest. It was as if we bothered them by checking in. They quoted us one rate when we arrived, but our bill was higher when we checked out. They refused to refund the difference. We used a local parking lot a couple of blocks away at $20.00 per night instead of using the hotel valet parking at $35.00 per night. When we took our luggage to our room when checking in and and also when checking out we had to leave our keys with the valet. Both times our keys went missing for 15-20 minutes. Overall, not a very nice stay at the Richmond. We would not stay there again.
