I was in south beach for New Years Eve. Two friends and I stayed at the Whitelaw. The hotel staff was generally very nice and accommodating. The day bartender was beautiful and polite, but one of the night bartenders got a little snappy at the open bar… he apologized later. The rooms were a nice size, and the sheets were clean and the water did stay hot! The shower lacks a door so be prepared for a wet bathroom. The hotel even gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne and party knick-knacks on New Years Eve! Definitely a Great location…one block away from the beach and next to all of the fabulous stores! I would definitely stay hear again and I recommend that you try it out!
