When we reserved our rooms they were reserved under the Best Western Chain. However we drove by the hotel because they had changed their name.
We had 4 rooms reserved. They all had dirty carpet. One room had cracked tile on the floor, when you walked on it, it moved. Another bathroom had a window that didn’t lock and no curtain on it. My daughter didn’t want to touch anything.
The pool was nice. The complimentary breakfast was no longer complimentary. The staff was not friendly. The worst thing however was they didn’t accomodate handicaped people. I had a broken foot, they had no wheelchair. They put us in a room where I had to walk up steps.
The only nice thing I can say about the place was its location. Lots of activity around, shops, restaurants and Miami Ink was only a couple of blocks away.
I would not recommend to anyone
Bel Air Hotel is located at 1020 Washington Ave., Miami Beach.
