Reasonable prices (and a short walk to the beach) draw a budget-conscious
crowd to the Best Western South Beach, but the main
selling points here are the spacious rooms.

Best Western "Great
for the price"

Friendly staff, good continental breakfast, clean rooms, nice decor
and close to everything in South Beach. The staff was very friendly
and accomodating and let us check in early and leave a little bit
late. We were very impressed :)
Best Western "Not Bad"

I guess it depends on what you're on vacation to do, I just wanted
to drink, club, and go shopping. If you want to relax, hang out at
the pool, and plan to spend a lot of time at the hotel then maybe
this isn't the best place for you to stay. Parking sucks but if you're
lucky enough to get in (after the sun goes down beachgoers leave and
a lot of parking opens up), the parking garage is a good deal, although
some of the most unfriendly people I've ever met work there. The lobby
and pool area are clean, nice, and modern. The staff is friendly and
easy going for the most part. Although the hot water didn't work in
the shower and the maintanence man went home for the evening and all
of the other rooms were sold out, we had a good experience. At the
last minute to pay so little for a room that is right in them middle
of every where in South Beach during Spring Break was amazing, i'm
still really happy about that! Besides the hot water thing the lobby
bathroom is kinda gross not in the maintanence but the fact that everything
seems to be falling apart and old, the window in the bathroom was
open and the hot air blowing in didn't add to the pleasure of using
it. The sinks are nice though oddly, in a crusty bathroom, and there
is a freakish neon red sign outside letting you know it's for the
Ladies. I was pleased overall. I wanted cleanliness, at least slightly
modern looking, convienance, and friendly staff and I got it, I will
stay there again.

I loved the best western hotel; it is simple, comfortable, not expensive
and very well located.- i recommend it to not very demanding people.-

Best Western "Shouldn't Be called
BEST Western!"

Stayed at this Hotel 10 years ago before Best Western bought it. It
was a nice, small,friendly art deco hotel. No More! Now it is 4 small
individually named hotels next to each other. It was such a disappoint
the first night--got stuck in the 3rd building that was awful! clogged
drain in tub, shower control knob kept falling off, sheets not tucked
in on bed, no pictures in room. mattress that was lumpy, etc.--very
depressing to say the least. Got changed to another room the next
2 nights in the main building. Obviously hadnt been updated either
but at least better.
I would not recommend this hotel except for location--it is close
to the beach. The rates are cheaper compared to other beach hotels
but you certainly get what you pay for but in this case you get nothing!
If this is an example of a Best Western I wont stay in them again!
The staff was indifferent and inefficient. When I called to check
on my reservation the person answered "hello"--thats it!
I didnt know who I was talking too! There are too many better hotels
on Miami Beach to put up with this! Best Western should be ashamed!
Best Western "questionable"

I stayed here in August 2004. The staff was accommodating, and the
service was good. The best thing about this hotel is the location.
If your just going to sleep in the room, this place is for you. I
wouldn't recommend this hotel, but you get what you pay for.
