his is the best fine dining experience in South Beach! Not only is
the food fantastic but the service really stands out. You hear a lot
about pretentious service at many fine dining restaurants in south
beach, but this is not the case at Blue Door. I had an early dinner
(7pm) with my two year old daughter here and the wait staff was nothing
but gracious. They brough toys for her to play with, extra food for
her, and by the end of the night the waiter was even showing us pictures
of his own children.

Although expensive, this is a real extraordinary experience for your
test buds. Every dish is unique and leaves a taste of more. Don't
miss out their desserts - magnificent!

We came to Miami for a girlie weekend and decided to treat ourselves
to an evening at the Blue Door.....what a great decision!!! The place
is amazing, such elegant decor and the staff were fabulous. We had
a beautiful meal, which wasn't overly priced at all considering we
also indulged in some tasty cocktails!! I would definitely recommend
the Blue door for an upscale night out in one of the coolest places
on SoBe.....we'll be back for sure.

It's been more than two years that I have not visited the Blue Door
restaurant at Delano Hotel. But to my suprise the service and specialy
the food were a complete disappointment to me & my guests.I really
don't know if this was a one time thing or that they were too busy
but this should not happen at all on a Five Star restaurant.The food
was nothing out of this world specially in taste or presentation and
considerably more expensive than China Grill.I'm not trying to put
down this place but they should reconsider making a new evaluation
at their menu,prices and specially customer service.They have a little
bit of an attitude and lack of professionalism , remember I'm the
guest and the one paying the bill. Good luck and I sincerely hope
they will improve.

We had made reservations well in advance, yet were seated at a table
that was bareley large enough to hold 2 plates, had a steady stream
of people walking past to get outside, had to endure very bad music
from the bar that was so loud that we couldn't hear each other.Dinner
for 2 was almost $400.

Sadly, a girls weekend ended disappointedly with the Blue Door. We
were so excited to eat at this fine hotel. That is, until we actually
got our meal. The crab/avacado app was fab. The $45 beef tenderloin
over cooked, dry and way over priced. The mojito, which our server
highly recommended, was watered down. The cute cuban server was the
only plus to this downer of a meal.

This is the only restaurant that I will dine at on South Beach ever
again. Absolutely everything about the food and decor was fantastic.

door three nights in a row! Enjoyed each night, models and celebs
