To Die For"Date: January 31, 2006 Reviewer: Miami Beach 411 User, MA Myself and 3 of my girlfriends went to south beach for the weekend. Our hotel concierge told us to go to Davids. At first we saw only the cafeteria side, and we were like no.. we wanted something a little nicer, then we realized there was an actual restaurant. The waiters were excellent, they dont speak english well, but thats ok it gives you a true Cuban experience. The food was excellent, the meat was a little dry but the side dishes and appetizers made up for it all. The Mojitos were unbelievable, we each had 4. They also had mango Mojitos which was a pleasant little surpise. When we asked about dessert they had a ton of different flan to choose from. The flan melted in your mouth. The entertainment was great everyone in the restaurant was clapping and enjoying themselves. Even the waiters joined in the singing and dancing. If you got up to go to the bathroom and they were not busy they would salsa dance with you. This restaurant was a great experience. I'm going back in may with my sister and we are definitly going back.
