Maria passed away on December 19, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of beautiful writing and unwavering spirit. She will be deeply missed, but her stories—and the light she brought to Miami—will live on. Rest in peace, Maria. We love you. 💙
